Burmese Pearls are associated with the moon (Chandra). They're believed to bring emotional stability and mental clarity by reducing stress, anxiety and chronic depression. Pearls are primarily composed of calcium carbonate (CaCO3) specifically in the form of the mineral aragonite. Some trace elements like iron, zinc and manganese can be present which influences their colour. These pearls are cultured through human intervention by speeding up the calcification process. They're abundant compared to Basra and Venezuelan Pearls but they're not cheap imitations or mass produced versions of chemically similar pearls that come from China. They're considered an intermediate class of pearls that provide great astrological benefit at a much reasonable pricing.
